Construction process
Wind turbines: From groundbreaking to operational phase
After completing the detailed planning and approval phase, the implementation and construction phase begins, in which the concepts are put into practice. The construction process starts with preparatory measures, where the site is prepared for construction by clearing the land. This is followed by earthworks and the construction of access roads and crane sites, which are necessary for further construction work. Once the excavation pits are dug and, if necessary, water management measures have been carried out, the foundation construction takes place, forming a stable base for the tower construction and the erection of the wind turbine (WT). In parallel to these activities, the cable route is laid and the grid connection, such as substations or transfer stations, is established to efficiently feed the generated energy into the grid. After the successful commissioning of the WT, the temporary construction sites are dismantled and the site is restored to its original condition as much as possible. This phase marks the transition from the construction to the operational phase and ensures that the project can be operated sustainably and efficiently.
