Optimal land use through a holistic approach
The Wind Energy Land Requirement Act (WindBG) sets clear goals: By 2032, the federal states must allocate at least 2% of their land area for wind energy. This mandate is crucial to accelerate the expansion of wind power and to drive the energy transition with full force. Implementation is carried out through a multi-stage plan that extends from the state to the local level.
EEF serves as a strong and reliable partner to local communities. We initially assess the potential for renewable energies at the state level and analyze how much of this potential is already utilized. We always consider the entire spatial context and follow a holistic approach that integrates wind, solar, storage, and grid components. Our goal: to optimally utilize the potentials and enable a smooth, meaningful use of renewable energies for the communities.
