The Hessian project includes six Vestas V172 turbines with a hub height of 199 meters each and a planned total capacity of 43.2 MW. The project is in an advanced stage of the approval process and plans to participate in the EEG tender in 2025. Commissioning is scheduled for 2027. With an annual production of 90,000 MWh, the wind park will supply around 26,400 households with clean energy.

"The swift and successful acquisition of this project demonstrates our efficiency and commitment to Energy transition 2.0," explains Hajo Kallsen, Head of Investments at EEF. "Thanks to our lean decision-making structures, we can implement important projects in a very short time."

The second project, located in Lower Saxony, includes seven wind turbines (WTs) with a total output of 38.9 MW, including a community wind turbine. The wind park will achieve an annual electricity production of about 74,000 MWh, equivalent to the annual consumption of about 21,100 households. Preparations for the project's approval are nearly complete, and the application will be submitted shortly.

Florian Rosenbusch, Head of Project Development, emphasizes: "We are pleased to have incorporated two advanced projects into our portfolio with both projects. This gives us the opportunity to start realization in a timely manner and to rapidly advance our goal of contributing to sustainable energy supply."

With these projects, EEF strengthens its position as a pioneer of the Energy transition 2.0 and significantly contributes to sustainable development in Hesse and Lower Saxony.
